Oh yeah...

...also on Saturday I bought the most ugly analog synthesizer I have ever owned. It rules though.
It's a Yamaha CS-40M - for sound, think Vangelis - Blade Runner Soundtrack. Very smooth sounding duophonic thing.

It's good, still chugging along, almost staying in tune. It's almost as ugly too :) hehe

i don't think it's ugly, but I don't have a roomful of vintage shit to compare it to. In related developments: Mr. SiD arrived at my house today so all the compoments are here, except for the geiger counter.

A geiger counter would totally rule as an enclosure for a sid-synth - if you don't get one for the sid I'm building for you, I'll get one for mine. No idea how to cut the hole for an LCD in it though, i'll have to think that one through.
